The Last Post

Hi guys! Today I am going to talk about how my semester was. This semester clearly began with my vacations, in which I spent a lot of time on the beach, I love it! Then I entered classes and I must admit that this semester was more relaxed than the first one of the previous year, because when I failed anatomy I had to give it back and it made me magically much easier, besides that I could not take all the second year classes. During this time, I applied for the position of "Director of Communications" of the CCEO, and stayed! And I like it a lot. There I have to organize scientific "events" with other colleagues, one of them was last Saturday and everything went very well. In addition, the coffee break was exquisite.

Now that I am finishing this semester, I must admit that I did not do as well as I expected in relation to the ratings, but I do not complain because the University is like that.

And well this blog is the last of the semester (and I hope the last of the year and life, because honestly this is not my thing), but I hope you liked to read them. Well, maybe not everything was so bad, just like I laughed at some things he wrote.

How have you changed?

The truth is that I really have not realized if I have changed my way of being or thinking, probably because I have a great pride to admit it (which certainly has never changed in me), or simply because I am like a little bird and I do not realize. For example: I still like chocolate a lot, I still dream of traveling to Egypt, I still have the same opinions about many subjects and I still love the music of Bon Jovi. The only thing I could admit is that my priorities in life have changed. I used to prefer a thousand times to go to the movies, watch shows or movies at home, go out to the beach or any activity that I enjoyed, and leave my responsibilities to the end. Now unfortunately I can not say the same even if I wanted to. By time theme, I have to prefer to study before anything else. It's awful! I must have stress levels through the heavens. I constantly study to perform well the tests, because many times it costs me and I am afraid to reproach subjects again. I remember that at school time, I did not study and I was doing well, now at the University, if I study badly, and if I do not study (which with my pear, I doubt it) I'm even worse. I've already assumed it, it's my new life.

A subject you enjoyed this semester

Well, my favorite subject this semester is "Evidence Based Dentistry", or as everyone calls it "OBE". In these classes they talk a lot about the scientific area that I like very much. They teach us to search and do research. At the end of the semester, we have to present a research paper, which although it has taken me a long time, entertains me.
The downside of these classes, is that they are after lunch time, and that time is supposed to be the nap :( so sometimes I get sleepy, not for be bored, but for the schedule.

I remember that until the beginning of the year I was not very sure of my career, but having a class that Professor Rolando Vernal made, left me without doubts: this is my career, I loved this feeling! That class was very good and interesting, apart from how he is not structured to teach, he told us about his experiences as a researcher, like his travels, research and anecdotes. He also said that if we followed his steps, we could become "rich and famous". This last one gave me a lot of laughter when he said it.

Finally, I can conclude that if I became a scientist, I will be "rich and famous". HAHAHAHA!!! 

Career-related website

Hi! I really don't have career-related website that I enjoy visiting, but a website that I visit a lot is U-cursos, simply for the reason that my entire university life is on this website. And yes! I am not exaggerating, because there are my marks, subjects, study material, personal information, timetable, and others. It is amazing how many uses it has. Technically I spend every day looking at this website in case there is new news.

I forgot to mention them, that has option to be an app, that is, I can have it for a long time on my cell phone. I like it! I find that is a website that helps the student a lot for all its functions.
There is only one small problem in all this, and that is that I get terrified when I get some notification of some marks :(

Well, possibly everyone knows this website and they you must think that I am not original, and yes! I have not imagination, but I am honest! And honestly I do not visit any website related to my career (I do not even know of its existence, ups!)

Creamfields (free theme)

Hi! This time I will talk about something that I am love it, and this is "Creamfields".

Creamfields is a electronic music festival, which is celebrated every year in Santiago of Chile. This year, the festival is turns 15th in this country, so it`s going to be amazing!!  I hope the organizers bring the best DJs, like Tiësto, Alesso, Hardwell, Martin Garrix and others.

As you can imagine, I bought my ticket. I had to wait a lot, but it was worth it. I would not miss it for nothing!

My first time in this festival was in 2016, i remember that my cousin accompanied me because we wanted to go see Tiësto. His presentation was the last of all, they left him the main stage and was very full, but equally i could hear and feel many songs that love it. At the end, he played the song "Secrets", and this together with the fireworks, the lights, the joy of the people and my Red Bull was unforgettable.

Free Theme

In this blog I have to talk about some topic, because it is free. But I can not think of anything, and only giving this explanation, I have exactly 30 words. Well... to put a topic, I will talk about what I am doing now.

At this moment, it is 8:23 p.m., it is very cold and my arm hurts because in this morning after Anatomy they gave us the hepatitis vaccine. I am watching TV and they are giving "ROJO: el color del talento", I must admit that when I was 8 years old I loved this program, I even wanted to take part, but I do not know how because I do not dance or sing. On the other hand, now I do not have to be very entertaining but I am seeing it because there is nothing better to see.

PS: in the end the program got good, and there is a big fight between a jury and a participant. Even the latter was told that he has the worst dance technique of the whole program. OMG!!!

My favorite photo

This time, I have to talk about my favorite photo.

As you can see, I chose this photo because it was taken in a very moment important for me: "My Prom". This photo means a complete cycle, 13 years of many unforgettable moments with laughter, tears, sadness, joy, hope, support, games, dances, and i could continue for days talking about everything that was live.

I remember that this photo was taken by the photographer of the school at the end of the ceremony, and I found it very beautiful,  it was taken right after that as a course we all made a circle and we danced the song "We are all in this together" of the movie ¨High School Musical¨.

Well, I also remember that we started crying like never before and we ended up laughing with pure nerves. It was very crazy!

Finally, we launched our graduation cap.

I will never forget this moment :)

My fav piece of tech

My favorite piece of tech is my notebook. I love it because it´s like a combination between a cell phone and a TV. In it I can do everything: watch movies and series, make documents for the university and I can even check my whatsapp. I got it, when i have to do homework or when i am bored. I use it, very carefully, because it is very delicate and expensive, it is my treasure. My notebook always use it, or at least, every week. My life without this i can not imagine, as i said before i can do everything on my notebook, I depend a lot on this. Althrough thinking it well if it had never been created, I would not miss it, because this technological device would never have occurred to me, then everything i can do in it, i would have to do otherwise less comfortable than this current one.

Autobiography

I was born in Santiago of Chile, a rainy day of August of the year 1998. Since that day, my parents had been bankrupt, although i am their only daughter. Why do i say this? Because  I have always liked to collecting things, like my girl toys, my perfumes, my makeup, even my Harry Potter movie collection, (yes, i love this saga!). Well, following with my story, when i was little i went to a garden next to my grandmother´s house. Then, I was all my school years in the same school, this was the "Colegio Santa Cecilia". There I lived many good times with my friends. I always did different activities, first i was in ballet, then i took piano lessons, well it was just one because i got bored. I took swimming lesson, but i caught a cold, and i was going to take tennis lessons but a week i suffered tendonitis. Finally, i was in volleyball and there i continued for years until graduating from school. Now, i am studying Odontology, and I am really looking forward to doing an extra activity, but after passing Anatomy.

3) My favorite days are Easter, because I can eat many chocolates.
